It’s my first art effort of 2023! I am seeking new year inspiration, thinking toward what I might make this year. Been browsing for ideas - here and on Pinterest - and keeping my mind open to possibilities. So far I am sticking to my trusty @sharpie markers as primary medium and doing botanical drawing. But as 2023 rolls on I may experiment more with new mediums and subjects. Stay tuned! Update: I have departed from my role of co-founder of the @e9makers arts collective. I left the collective that I co-founded in 2017 in the E9 postal code of London’s Hackney of the United Kingdom in 2017 - because with my move to America in 2020 it has become geographically challenging to maintain my role. The collective remains active - so please do follow them! I will continue to make and share art with all here! A huge big love shout out to the world for my dear friend Cæsar Paul Del Trecco who has died this week. He was a wonderful mate to me - supporting me so many decades ago when I was taking to the stage in New York City. I have been celebrating and tributing him all week.
