This year I am kicking off my art with acrylic paint markers - a change from my usual Sharpie markers. These were gifted to me by my biological father for Christmas this year - thanks dad! I am enjoying the paint-like medium of these colorful drawing tools. #art #contemporaryart

Let’s gooooo!!! Into 2025! Planning to continue sharing my art and some of my life with all ya’ll friends here from around the world! For a re-cap: I am Lisa living in the Blue Ridge Mountains of America’s Virginia. I make art! I mostly draw and paint botanicals and enjoy doing stylized observational drawings with usually my trusted Sharpie markers. My art is inspired by mid-century modern (MCM) design, 60s & 70s psychedelic-a and many historic artists. I love rendering what I see into my own often quirky view of this world. I enjoy sharing my creations with ya’ll all here - my worldwide audience! I hope everyone finds my works to give you a bit of joy in these challenging times. Outside of making art - I work in the nonprofit sector & solo parent my teenage son.
